海南春运水上出行近900万人次 客运量再创新高
中新网海口3月6日电 (记者 符宇群) 记者6日从海南海事局获悉，今年春运期间(1月7日至2月15日)，海南共保障898.3万人次旅客水上安全出行，同比增长21.4%，再创历史新高。
其中，琼州海峡过海旅客489.6万余人次，同比增长20.8%；过海车辆113.6万余辆次，同比增长10.7%。
据了解，春运期间，海南海事局统筹协调各方力量，加强水上交通安全监管，强化应急值守和巡查执法，全力保障旅客安全出行。
为应对春运期间水上客流高峰，海南海事局会同相关部门提前部署，优化运力配置，加密航次，增开临时航线，保障旅客顺利出行。同时，加强码头和船舶安全检查，严厉打击超载、疲劳驾驶等违法行为，确保水上交通安全有序。
海南海事局相关负责人表示，今年春运期间，海南水上客运量再创新高，充分体现了海南经济社会发展活力和人民群众出行需求的不断增长。海南海事局将继续强化水上交通安全监管，为旅客安全出行保驾护航。
