Changsha, China – The Xiangzhi Xingxiang 2025 Xiaoxiang Foreign Experts Volunteer Service Activity officially launched on May 7th at the Changjun Bilingual Experimental High School. Five experts from countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Nigeria, and Bangladesh engaged in a cross-cultural scientific dialogue with over 100 students from the high school’s international department.

The event, organized under the Xiangzhi Xingxiang initiative, aims to leverage the expertise of foreign professionals to boost development in Hunan province, particularly in education. By bringing international experts directly to local schools, the program provides students with unique opportunities to learn from diverse perspectives and engage in discussions on scientific topics.

The experts shared their knowledge and experiences in various fields, fostering a stimulating environment for intellectual exchange. Students actively participated in the discussions, asking questions and sharing their own insights. The event not only broadened the students’ understanding of science but also enhanced their cross-cultural communication skills.

The Xiangzhi Xingxiang program exemplifies China’s commitment to international collaboration and its focus on nurturing future generations of global citizens. By facilitating interactions between foreign experts and local students, the program promotes mutual understanding and contributes to the development of a more interconnected world.

This volunteer service activity serves as a valuable platform for promoting scientific literacy and fostering international cooperation. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, such initiatives play a crucial role in preparing students to thrive in a globalized environment.
