Handan, Hebei Province, China – A road collapse in Handan, Hebei Province, resulted in two vehicles sinking into the ground on June 4, 2025. According to an official statement released by the Handan City Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau via their WeChat public account, the incident occurred at approximately 3:00 PM local time at the intersection of Guangming Avenue and Shuichang Road.
Following the incident, personnel from the city’s urban management, public security, and emergency response departments were immediately dispatched to the scene. The statement confirmed that three individuals sustained minor injuries as a result of the collapse.
The cause of the road collapse is currently under investigation. Authorities have cordoned off the area to conduct a thorough assessment of the damage and to prevent further incidents. Details regarding the extent of the damage to the vehicles and the timeline for repairs have not yet been released.
