Hefei, Anhui Province, September 21, 2024 – Anhui Province has made significant strides in fostering the development of industrial internet platforms, with a total of 70 provincial-level key platforms established to date. This development has been a pivotal step towards advancing digital transformation within the province’s industrial sector.
The recent World Manufacturing Fair’s Industrial Artificial Intelligence and New Economy Star Scene Special Session revealed that these platforms have connected over ten million pieces of equipment, demonstrating the province’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge technologies and driving economic growth.
A Wealth of Progress in Industrial Internet Platforms
Among the 70 provincial-level platforms, 22 have been recognized as key platforms in Anhui Province, while 10 have been designated as industrial internet innovation application centers. These platforms have played a crucial role in driving the digital transformation of over 11,700 large and medium-sized enterprises, accounting for 50.48% of the total number of such enterprises in the province.
Anhui’s industrial internet platforms have achieved remarkable progress, with several reaching national leading levels. Notably, the KEG Lab Industrial Internet Platform at Anhui University of Science and Technology has been recognized as a national double-cross platform. Furthermore, 22 platforms in Anhui have been designated as national characteristic platforms, placing the province fifth in the country.

Pan Feng, a二级 inspector with the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized the significance of digital transformation in promoting the development of new-quality productivity.
