Lishui and Zhoushan: Bridging Mountains and Seas for SharedProsperity
Zhoushan, China – A delegation of over20 overseas Chinese businessmen from 12 countries, including Spain, Italy, Greece, and France, recently embarked on a Mountain-Sea Collaborative Journey forShared Prosperity in Zhoushan, organized by the Lishui Overseas Chinese Business Association. The event brought together Lishui and Zhoushan’soverseas Chinese business communities, fostering collaboration and exploring opportunities for mutual growth.
The delegation, under the theme Mountain-Sea Collaboration, Shared Prosperity, visited several key locations in Zhoushan, gaining insights into the city’s development andculture. They toured the Zhoushan City Exhibition Hall, the Zhoushan High-tech Zone Innovation Service Platform, the Putuoshan Bai Sha Island, a model island for shared prosperity, the Wushan Water Conservancy Project East China SeaCloud Corridor, and a newly built community in the beautiful countryside. These visits provided a firsthand look at Zhoushan’s unique fishing traditions, maritime culture, and ongoing transformation, revealing potential avenues for investment and collaboration.
A highlight of the event was a dedicated cooperation exchange meeting between Lishui and Zhoushan’s overseas Chinese business leaders. The Zhoushan United Front Work Department warmly welcomed the Lishui delegation, expressing their eagerness to strengthen ties and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Both the Lishui and Zhoushan Overseas Chinese Business Associations presented their respective achievements and discussed potential areas of cooperation, including healthcare, filmproduction, and renewable energy.
The meeting culminated in the signing of a friendly agreement between the two associations, solidifying their commitment to leveraging each other’s strengths and resources. They pledged to enhance collaboration, foster friendship, share knowledge, and provide mutual support, propelling cooperation to new heights across a wider rangeof sectors.
