Ningxia’s Village BA Basketball Tournament Kicks Off, Bringing RuralSports to Life
Yinchuan, Ningxia, August 29, 2024 – The Dadi Liucai (Land of Colorful) Ningxia Beautiful Countryside Second Basketball Tournament (Village BA)commenced in Minning Town, Yongning County, Yinchuan City on Tuesday evening. The tournament, featuring nine teams from various cities and counties across Ningxia, will run for four days, offering a vibrant basketball spectacle for rural sports enthusiasts. The event showcases the burgeoning energy and vitality of rural basketball in Ningxia, seamlessly blending the passion of the sport with the tranquility of the countryside.
Theopening ceremony was followed by an intense match between the Yuxiu Pingluo team and the Yongning Minning Shanhaiqing team, treating the audience to a thrilling display of basketball skills. The tournament will be broadcast live across multiple new mediaplatforms, allowing fans to enjoy the action from the comfort of their homes. Spectators can also attend the games for free.
Beyond the basketball court, the event also features a Beautiful Countryside Autumn Wild Market, adding a layer of cultural and culinary experience to the festivities. The market offers a tantalizing arrayof local produce, including goji berries, red wine, milk, mutton, and beef, allowing visitors to savor authentic Ningxia flavors.
