Xpeng MONA M03 Begins Deliveries at Chengdu Auto Show, Startingat 11.98 Million Yuan
Chengdu, China– Xpeng Motors today announced the commencement of deliveries for its new compact electric sedan, the MONA M03, at the Chengdu Auto Show on August30th. The first batch of deliveries will be made to customers who pre-ordered the vehicle.
The MONA M03, priced startingat 11.98 million yuan, was officially launched on August 27th. Xpeng CEO He Xiaopeng will personally oversee the delivery ceremony, marking a significant milestone for the company’s latest model.
TheChengdu Auto Show will be a showcase for Xpeng’s entire lineup, with the MONA M03, X9, G9, G6, and P7i models all on display at the company’s booth in Hall11-01 of the China Western International Expo City.
Xpeng’s aerial vehicle subsidiary, Xpeng Aeroht, will also be present at the show, showcasing its flying car technology with demonstrations at the Tianfu Conference Center on August 30th at 11:00 AMand 4:15 PM.
The MONA M03 is designed to appeal to younger buyers seeking a stylish and affordable electric vehicle. It boasts a spacious interior with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, optional 599 yuan instrument panel, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip paired with 16GB of RAM. The car also features a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) including 360-degree panoramic cameras and a 3D rendering map.
The MONA M03 offers two motor options, with maximum power outputs of140kW and 160kW. Two lithium iron phosphate battery options are available, providing ranges of 515km, 580km, and 620km.
While the standard MONA M03 will be available for delivery starting in September, the M03 Max, equipped with advanced urban autonomous driving capabilities, will not be delivered until after the Chinese New Year in 2025.
