Both deluxe and collector’s editions grant early access to the game starting from October 1. The game also offers full support for Simplified Chinese, catering to a wider audience.

In terms of system requirements, Sword Art Online: Cross Edge demands a minimum configuration of an AMD Ryzen 3 3100 or Intel Core i5-8400 processor, 8 GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon RX 580 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 graphics card, and 45 GB of available storage space. For optimal performance, a recommended configuration includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-10700K, 16 GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, and the same storage space.
