中新网昆明8月8日电 (记者李润泽)8月8日,在昆明举行的美国飞虎寻访团云南行公益活动座谈会上,云南省飞虎队研究会与美国飞虎队传播协会签订了一份《中美民间飞虎队外交战略合作协议书》。这份协议标志着双方将在飞虎队历史文化发掘、保护、继承及产业经济发展等方面展开深入合作,旨在延续中美两国民间的深厚友谊。

美国飞虎队传播协会是一个在加州注册的非营利组织,致力于传承陈纳德将军带领飞虎队与中国军民共同抗击日本法西斯的历史,以及推动中美民间的友好交流。云南省飞虎队研究会则是一个兼具学术性、联谊性、非经营性的社团组织,与飞虎队传播协会在多方面有着长期的合作交流。

根据协议内容,双方将在平等互利的基础上,通过寻访、发掘、保护飞虎队遗址,促进中美民间青少年文化交流,助推飞虎经济产业发展,共同讲述飞虎队的故事,传承飞虎精神。

云南省飞虎队研究会会长朱俊坤在会上表示,希望通过此次合作,能够在更宽泛的领域加强中美民间的交流合作,为推动中美民间友谊的进一步发展作出贡献。美国飞虎队传播协会主席虞清也强调了与研究会的交流合作的重要性,并希望以此为契机,加强两国青少年之间的互动交流。
