中新网太原7月30日电 (记者 杨杰英)7月30日,“2024华星小记者山西集结营”在太原隆重开营。来自马来西亚、巴基斯坦、荷兰、西班牙等9个国家的29名华星小记者和记者站负责人参加了开营仪式。这是山西省首次承办“华星小记者”项目活动,旨在弘扬中华文化,促进中外文明交流互鉴,提升海外华裔青少年中文表达运用能力。

活动中,小记者们将以新生代视角,用中文讲述多元文化故事;完成月度主题采访、接受作品点评指导,参加夏令营、直播课堂和全球PK赛,培养写作技能;记录生活,发现新闻,提升思考和沟通能力。开营仪式上,山西省侨办侨务处长王晓东从历史文化、特色资源、风土人情、侨务工作开展等方面介绍了山西。他表示,此次活动将让小记者们用脚步丈量三晋大地,用小记者独特的视野和影像感受山西五千年璀璨的历史传统文化。

小记者团教师代表、荷兰代尔夫特中文学校老师刘延说,希望小记者们能够积极参与活动,不断拓宽自己的知识和视野。马来西亚华校教师会总会记者站总站小记者高悦琋介绍,自己对视频剪辑特别感兴趣,便向学校毛遂自荐,正式成为一名小记者。她期待,在此次活动期间与来自四面八方的小记者们交流和分享经验。

为期十天的活动中,将邀请山西大学教授讲授中华传统文化,小记者们将实地考察山西博物院、晋祠博物馆、雁门关、云冈石窟、平遥古城、乔家大院等地,逐“步”翻开山西这本记录历史的书籍,体验丰富多彩的山西传统文化。

本次活动由中国华文教育基金会主办,山西省侨务办公室承办,完美(中国)有限公司友情赞助。通过这样的活动,不仅能够让海外华裔青少年更好地了解中华文化,还能够促进不同文明之间的交流与互鉴,为构建人类命运共同体贡献力量。

BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhua) — On July 30, the “2024 Xing Hua Junior Reporters Shanxi Assembly Camp” was grandly launched in Taiyuan. A total of 29 Xing Hua junior reporters and station managers from nine countries, including Malaysia, Pakistan, the Netherlands, and Spain, participated in the opening ceremony. This marks the first time Shanxi Province has hosted the Xing Hua Junior Reporters project, aiming to promote Chinese culture, foster mutual exchange and appreciation of civilizations between China and the rest of the world, and enhance the ability of overseas Chinese youth to express themselves in Chinese.

During the event, junior reporters will tell diverse cultural stories from a new generation’s perspective in Chinese; complete monthly theme interviews, receive feedback and guidance on their work, participate in summer camps, live streaming classes, and global competitions, to cultivate writing skills; document their lives, discover news, and enhance their analytical and communication abilities.

At the opening ceremony, Wang Xiaodong, the head of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the Shanxi Provincial Government, introduced Shanxi from aspects such as its historical culture, distinctive resources, local customs, and the work of overseas Chinese affairs. He expressed that the event will allow junior reporters to measure the three provinces of Jin with their footsteps, and experience the five thousand years of splendid history and culture of Shanxi through the unique perspective and images of junior reporters.

Representative of the junior reporters’ teacher, Liu Yan from the Dalian Foreign Language School in the Netherlands, said that he hoped the junior reporters would actively participate in the activities and continuously broaden their knowledge and horizons. Gao Yueyin, a junior reporter from the Malaysian Chinese School Teachers Association, introduced that she was particularly interested in video editing and self-recommended to join the school as a junior reporter. She looked forward to exchanging and sharing experiences with junior reporters from all over the world during this event.

During the ten-day event, experts from Shanxi University will be invited to teach traditional Chinese culture, and junior reporters will conduct field visits to the Shanxi Museum, Jinci Museum, Hengshan Pass, Yungang Grottoes, Pingyao Ancient City, and the Qiao Family Compound, gradually “turning the pages” of Shanxi’s historical book and experiencing the rich and colorful traditional culture of Shanxi.

This event is hosted by the China Overseas Chinese Education Foundation and organized by the Shanxi Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, with the kind support of Perfect (China) Co., Ltd. Through such events, it is not only possible for overseas Chinese youth to better understand Chinese culture, but also to promote exchanges and mutual appreciation of different civilizations, contributing to the construction of a community of shared future for mankind.
