格尔木市农牧业技术推广服务中心主任曾纪勇介绍,项目采用水肥一体化技术、盐碱地治理配套技术,旨在实现水资源高效利用和盐碱土地的有效改造。通过该技术的应用,预计可减少35%的肥料使用量和60%-70%的用水量,同时减少50%以上的人工投入,增产幅度可达30%以上,有效提升作物品质与经济效益。

格尔木市在2023年通过土壤改良与水肥一体技术的综合应用,在盐碱地上成功试种了油葵、土豆等经济作物,取得了显著的经济效益。这一成功经验为当地盐碱地治理提供了可推广、可复制、可持续的现代农业发展路径。

为持续推动盐碱地改造提升,格尔木市今年将继续加大盐碱地改造力度,实施分区分类治理策略,建设盐碱地治理水肥一体化推广示范基地。预计盐碱地治理改良面积将从上一年度的173亩扩大至1739亩,进一步推广盐碱地改造的有效做法,旨在充分挖掘盐碱地综合利用潜力,提高农业综合生产能力,促进区域经济发展和社会进步,打造海西州乃至青海省的千亩水肥一体化标杆示范项目基地。

In the Guolemude Town of Gerge Mude District, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province, a remarkable agricultural transformation is unfolding on land that spans approximately an acre. This transformation is made possible through a sophisticated system of integrated water and nutrient management, remote control, soil meteorological monitoring, and a smart, integrated pump station. The initiative aims to breathe life into nearly a thousand acres of saline-alkali land, turning it into fertile farmland capable of yielding crops such as turnips, Jerusalem artichokes, quinoa, and purple potatoes. This technological application not only converts saline-alkali land into fertile fields but also employs automated water supply, water body sedimentation, and pH adjustment techniques to achieve intelligent irrigation and precise nutrient application.

Mr. Zeng Jiyong, the Director of the Gerge Mude Agricultural and Livestock Technology Promotion Service Center, explains that the project utilizes water and nutrient integration technology and saline-alkali land management techniques to optimize water usage and effectively transform saline-alkali lands. Through this technology, it is anticipated that there will be a 35% reduction in fertilizer usage, a 60-70% decrease in water consumption, and a 50% reduction in labor input, with a potential increase in yield of over 30%, thereby enhancing crop quality and economic returns.

In 2023, Gerge Mude successfully planted economically valuable crops like sunflower and potatoes on saline-alkali land through the integration of soil improvement and water and nutrient management techniques, achieving significant economic benefits. This success serves as a model for sustainable agricultural development that can be replicated and scaled up in the region.

To further enhance the transformation of saline-alkali land, Gerge Mude plans to intensify efforts this year by implementing a targeted and stratified approach to management. The city will establish a demonstration and promotion base for water and nutrient integration in saline-alkali land management. The area of saline-alkali land to be improved is projected to expand from 173 acres in the previous year to 1,739 acres, further disseminating effective practices for saline-alkali land transformation. The aim is to maximize the potential of saline-alkali land use, increase agricultural productivity, and promote regional economic growth and social progress, creating a model project base for water and nutrient integration in saline-alkali land management in Haixi Prefecture and beyond.
