中国援外医疗队进校园开展“护心行动”
中新网济南3月8日电（记者 赵晓）记者8日从援基里巴斯中国（山东）医疗队获悉，当地时间3月1日-7日，该医疗队在基里巴斯首都塔拉瓦驻地ST.PATRICK’S COLLEGE高中学校顺利举办筛查“风心病”进校园活动。这是医疗队为当地学校开展“护心行动”的第10场活动。
活动期间，医疗队医护人员为全校400余名师生进行了免费心脏听诊和心电图检查，并对检查结果进行现场解读，向学生们普及风心病的预防知识。
据悉，风心病是基里巴斯常见的心血管疾病，严重威胁当地民众健康。为提高当地民众对风心病的认识，降低风心病发病率，中国援外医疗队自2022年起在基里巴斯开展“护心行动”。
此次“护心行动”进校园活动，不仅为学生们提供了免费的心脏健康筛查，还通过知识讲座和互动问答，向学生们讲解了风心病的危害、预防措施和治疗方法。

According to a report from the Chinese (Shandong) Medical Team in Kiribati on March 8, the team successfully held a heart disease screening event at St. Patrick’s College High School in Tarawa, the capital of Kiribati, from March 1 to 7. This was the 10th “heart protection campaign” activity carried out by the medical team in local schools.
During the event, medical staff from the team provided free heart auscultation and electrocardiogram examinations for more than 400 teachers and students at the school. They also interpreted the results on the spot and disseminated knowledge about heart disease prevention to the students.
