中国与瑞士就乌克兰和平谈判举行会谈
2024年3月5日，中国政府欧亚事务特别代表李辉在布鲁塞尔会见了瑞士外交部国际安全司司长吕兴格。双方就乌克兰和平谈判问题和瑞士筹办和平会议事进行了建设性的沟通。
李辉表示，中方始终致力于维护世界和平与稳定，支持一切有利于和平解决乌克兰危机的努力。中方愿同瑞士和其他国际社会成员一道，为推动乌克兰和平谈判发挥建设性作用。
吕兴格表示，瑞士高度重视中方在乌克兰问题上的立场，赞赏中方为和平解决危机所作出的努力。瑞士愿同中方加强沟通协调，共同为促进乌克兰和平进程作出贡献。
双方一致认为，当前乌克兰局势复杂严峻，和平解决是唯一出路。国际社会应共同努力，为和平谈判创造有利条件，推动各方通过对话协商解决分歧，实现持久和平。

China and Switzerland have held talks on Ukraine peace talks.
On March 5, 2024, China’s Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui met with Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Head of International Security Division Luzius Wasescha in Brussels. The two sides had constructive communication on the issue of Ukraine peace talks and Switzerland’s hosting of a peace conference.
Li Hui said that China iscommitted to maintaining world peace and stability and supports all efforts conducive to a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine crisis. China is willing to work with Switzerland and other members of the international community to play a constructive role in promoting Ukraine peace talks.
Wasescha said that Switzerland attaches great importance to China’s position on the Ukraine issue and appreciates China’s efforts to peacefully resolve the crisis. Switzerland is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with China to jointly contribute to promoting the Ukraine peace process.
Both sides agreed that the current situation in Ukraine is complex and severe, and a peaceful solution is the only way out. The international community should work togetherto create favorable conditions for peace talks and encourage all parties to resolve differences through dialogue and consultation to achieve lasting peace.
