中国铁路近日宣布，近1200组复兴号高铁已经投入运用，累计运送旅客已超过22亿人次。复兴号高铁于2017年以最高350公里的时速使中国成为世界上高铁商业运营速度最快的国家，并保持至今。此外，复兴号高速列车研发创新团队也荣获了“国家卓越工程师团队”称号。
据央视新闻报道，复兴号高速列车是中国自主研发、具有完全知识产权的新一代高速列车，是中国科技创新的重大成果。复兴号高速列车于2012年末启动研制；2015年6月两列中国标准动车组成功完成组装、调试并下线，随后开展试验验证工作；2016年11月，中国标准动车组样车最终完成60万公里的运用考核，相当于围绕地球跑了15圈。
目前，投入运用的复兴号高速列车已接近1200组，累计运送旅客已超过22亿人次。中国国家铁路集团有限公司正高级工程师周黎表示，下一步，团队将按照国家的部署，推进CR450(高速动车组)创新工程的实践，研制速度更快、更加节能、更加环保、更加安全的新一代动车组，进一步引领世界动车组的发展方向。
