According to information obtained from the family of Zhou Erliu, a 顾问 to the Zhou Enlai Research Center at Nankai University and a retired official, Zhou Erliu passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023, at 11:50 a.m. in Shanghai’s People’s Hospital, aged 94. Zhou Erliu was a great-nephew of Zhou Enlai, one of the most outstanding leaders in China’s revolutionary and construction movements. Born in Shanghai in 1929, Zhou Erliu was the eldest great-grandson in the Zhou family. In an article published by the Evening Post in November this year, it was reported that Zhou Erliu was born.
