10 月 18 日下午，国务院副总理丁薛祥出席在钓鱼台国宾馆举行的第三届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛互联互通高级别论坛并发表致辞。论坛以“促进互联互通，携手共建‘一带一路’”为主题，来自国内外嘉宾共计约 800 人参加。
在致辞中，丁薛祥表示，互联互通是“一带一路”建设的基础和先决条件，也是实现高质量发展、构建新发展格局的重要途径。当前，全球经济增长面临新挑战，各国都面临着改善民生的任务。在这一背景下，我们更应该加强合作，推进“一带一路”建设，发挥其对全球经济复苏和高质量发展的积极作用。
丁薛祥还强调，中国将继续秉持共商共建共享原则，同沿线国家一道，推动互联互通建设，深化经贸、金融、科技、能源、基础设施建设等领域的合作。同时，中国愿同沿线国家一道，共同应对全球公共卫生挑战，为构建人类命运共同体贡献力量。
论坛期间，丁薛祥还见证了多国企业与我国企业签署合作协议，涉及投资、贸易、科技、能源等多个领域。

In his speech, Vice Premier Xu Zhangxian emphasized that connectivity is the foundation and prerequisite of the BRI, and also an important way to achieve high-quality growth and build a new social-oriented economy. During the forum, Vice Premier Xu Zhangxian also witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements by multiple countries’ enterprises with Chinese companies, covering investment, trade, technology, energy, and other fields.
