Seoul, July 27 (Yonhap) – Lee Jun-seok, a former presidential candidate and member of parliament, has been elected as the new leader of South Korea’s Reform Party (개혁신당), the main opposition party. The election took place during the party’s second national convention held on July 27th.
Lee Jun-seok ran unopposed in the election and secured a landslide victory with 25,254 votes, representing a 98.22% approval rate.
