Seoul, July 5th – The original soundtrack (OST) for Netflix’s animated film K-Pop: Demon Hunters, a K-Pop themed production, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the top two spots on Spotify’s US Daily Top Songs chart. This accomplishment marks a new milestone for K-Pop on the global streaming platform.
The song Your Idol, performed by the virtual boy group Saja Boys, reached the number one position on the Spotify US Daily Top Songs chart on July 4th, local time. This achievement surpasses the previous record held by BTS’s Dynamite, which peaked at number three, establishing a new high for K-Pop songs on the chart.
Prior to this, only one other K-Pop song had reached the top spot on the Spotify US chart: Jungkook of BTS with Seven (feat. Latto).
