Kunming, China – In a move signaling strengthened inter-provincial collaboration, nearly one hundred enterprises from Guangdong and Yunnan convened in Kunming, the Spring City, on June 19th, to explore and cultivate new business opportunities. The Guangdong Trade Nationwide: Guangdong-Yunnan Economic and Trade Exchange and Docking Activity was jointly hosted by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province.
The event underscores a growing trend of two-way journeys between businesses in Guangdong, a powerhouse of China’s manufacturing and export sectors, and Yunnan, a province rich in natural resources and burgeoning tourism. This initiative aims to foster deeper economic ties and facilitate mutually beneficial partnerships.
