Hong Kong – The highly anticipated K-POP award show, 2025 MAMA AWARDS, is set to electrify Hong Kong this November, marking a triumphant return after a seven-year absence. CJ ENM, the South Korean entertainment and media giant, announced on May 29th that the event will be held on November 28th and 29th at the Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium in Hong Kong.
This return to Hong Kong holds special significance as it coincides with the 30th anniversary of Mnet, CJ ENM’s music channel. Hong Kong has historically been a frequent host of the MAMA Awards, making this year’s event a nostalgic homecoming.
The choice of venue is also noteworthy. The Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium, which officially opened in March 2024, boasts a seating capacity of up to 50,000, promising a spectacular experience for K-POP fans.
Hong Kong’s convenient transportation and its status as a global hub for K-POP fans make it an ideal location, stated CJ ENM in their announcement. The company anticipates that the return of MAMA to the Greater China region after many years will add a new chapter to the award show’s illustrious history.
