Shanghai – Lynk & Co, the global automotive brand co-owned by Geely and Volvo, is gearing up to launch a refreshed version of its popular 01 SUV this month. According to a recent announcement by Mu Jun, Vice President of Lynk & Co, the updated model will feature a striking new matte blue exterior paint option, along with subtle but significant changes to both the exterior and interior design.
The current Lynk & Co 01, priced between RMB 155,800 and RMB 196,800, has been a strong contender in the competitive SUV market. The refresh aims to further solidify its position by introducing a more modern and sophisticated aesthetic.
Exterior Updates: A Fresh Coat and New Shoes
Spy shots referenced by IT Home, a leading Chinese tech news outlet, reveal that the updated 01 will retain its signature split headlight design, a defining characteristic of the Lynk & Co brand. The addition of the matte blue paint option provides a contemporary and stylish alternative to existing color choices. Furthermore, the new model will sport newly designed alloy wheels, adding a touch of dynamism to the vehicle’s profile.
Interior Overhaul: A Tech-Forward Cabin
The most significant changes appear to be focused on the interior. The refreshed Lynk & Co 01 will feature a prominent, floating-style infotainment screen. This modern upgrade necessitates a redesign of the dashboard, with adjustments to the air vent layout and gear selector. The familiar three-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel remains, maintaining the sporty feel of the cabin.

While Lynk & Co has yet to officially release detailed specifications for the updated 01, it is expected that the powertrain will remain largely unchanged. The current model boasts a 2.0T engine producing a maximum power output of 187 kW and a peak torque of 350 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Select models also offer an optional all-wheel-drive system. The current Lynk & Co 01 measures 4512mm in length, 1857mm in width, and 1689mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2734mm.
