Seoul, April 11 (Yonhap) – The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) announced on Thursday that it held the Korea New Travel B2B Fair in Taipei, Taiwan, on Wednesday, April 10th.
The event, focused on South Korean cultural tourism, saw participation from 48 companies spanning six key sectors: K-POP concerts, performances, wellness and healthcare, sports, tourism facilities, and traditional Korean cultural experiences. More than 150 tourism industry professionals from Taiwan attended the fair, resulting in over 600 business consultations between the two sides.
The KTO plans to leverage the popularity of Korean cultural content among Taiwanese tourists by launching tourism products linked to K-POP concerts. In collaboration with KKday, a Taiwanese travel e-commerce platform, the KTO will also promote travel packages centered around attending performances in South Korea.
