The announcement, made at the Yueyi Technology Day event on February 25th, also included the unveiling of two new SUV models, the Yueyi 03 and Yueyi 07, showcasing the platform’s versatility in supporting various new energy vehicle (NEV) powertrains.

The Yueying platform boasts advanced features, including support for 6C fast charging, integrated end-to-end solutions, and a VLA (Visual Large-scale Application) visual model. The platform’s core lies in its Zhuri Power (逐日动力, Chasing the Sun Power) system, encompassing three distinct powertrain options: pure electric, plug-in hybrid, and range-extended electric.

BMP Super Electric: This pure electric system is designed for high performance and efficiency, featuring a remarkable 6C charging rate and an impressive 92% comprehensive electric drive efficiency. This translates to faster charging times and optimized energy consumption.
BMP Super Hybrid: The plug-in hybrid system utilizes a powerful 168kW engine for direct drive and a 120kW generator, achieving a thermal efficiency of 45.21%. This combination promises both strong performance and fuel economy.

Powered by a 122kW motor supplied by Huawei Digital Power Technology and a lithium iron phosphate battery from CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery), the Yueyi 03 boasts a claimed energy consumption of 11.8 kWh/100km and a maximum range of 565km.

Yueyi 07: A Plug-in Hybrid SUV for Extended Journeys

The Yueyi 07 is a plug-in hybrid SUV with dimensions of 4745x1880x1710mm and a wheelbase of 2772mm. It features a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain, with the engine delivering a maximum power of 110kW. The Yueyi 07 offers two pure electric range options: 112km with a 21.2kWh battery and 160km with a 30.9kWh battery. FAW Bestune claims a fuel consumption of 4.9L/100km in charge-sustaining mode and an astonishing 0.67L/100km in combined mode, with a total range exceeding 2000km.
