Busan, South Korea – The city of Busan is gearing up to host the 9th annual Busan One Asia Festival (BOF) from June 11th to 13th, 2025, at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) and surrounding areas. This highly anticipated event, a celebration of K-Pop and Korean culture, promises to be a vibrant hub for global youth.
According to a statement released by the Busan Metropolitan Government on February 25th, the festival aims to transcend its K-Pop roots and solidify its position as a platform for cultural exchange, allowing young people from around the world to immerse themselves in the diverse facets of Korean culture.
The highlight of the festival will undoubtedly be the K-Pop concerts held at BEXCO. This year’s concerts will feature a unique format, divided into K-POP Selection performances and K-POP Band performances, offering a broader spectrum of musical styles within the K-Pop genre. The initial lineup, recently announced by the organizers, includes popular boy groups WayV and NCT WISH, setting the stage for an electrifying musical experience.
Beyond the main concerts, the festival will also feature a variety of supplementary events, including a rookie artist showcase and talk shows centered around various aspects of Korean culture. These events aim to provide a more comprehensive and engaging experience for attendees, further enriching their understanding and appreciation of Korean arts and traditions.
The Busan One Asia Festival has evolved significantly since its inception, transforming from a primarily K-Pop focused event into a multifaceted celebration of Korean culture. By offering a diverse range of activities and performances, BOF aims to attract a wider audience and foster a deeper connection between Korea and the global community.
As Busan prepares to welcome visitors from across the globe, the 2025 Busan One Asia Festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the dynamism and global appeal of Korean culture.
