Beijing, February 20, 2025 – China’s ambitious Tianwen-2 asteroid exploration mission has reached a crucial milestone, with the spacecraft arriving at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center on February 20, according to the China National Space Administration (CNSA). This marks a significant step forward in China’s deep-space exploration program, signaling the nation’s commitment to unraveling the mysteries of our solar system.

The Tianwen-2 mission is particularly noteworthy for its audacious and multifaceted objectives. Unlike traditional single-target missions, Tianwen-2 aims to accomplish a series of complex tasks through a single launch.
