In a moveaimed at promoting a clean and ethical online community, the popular Chinese short video platform Douyin (TikTok’s Chinese counterpart) announced the suspension of all accounts belonging toThree Sheep, a prominent e-commerce brand, effective September 21st. This decision follows a recent investigation by a joint investigation team in Hefei, which found that Three Sheep engaged in illegal activities including false marketing andconsumer rights violations.
