Chongqing, China – Avatr, a rising star in China’s electric vehicle (EV) market, officially announced today that the launch event for its highly anticipated Avatr 06 model will be held in Chongqing on April 19th. The announcement, reported by IT Home, comes after the vehicle has already entered its pre-sale phase, with prices starting at RMB 215,900.
The Avatr 06 is poised to be a significant contender in the competitive EV landscape, boasting a compelling combination of advanced technology, luxurious features, and a range of powertrain options.

A standout feature of the Avatr 06 is its integration with Huawei’s Qiankun Intelligent Driving System. The system utilizes a single lidar solution, offering advanced driver-assistance features. A Pro version of the system will also be available, suggesting varying levels of autonomous driving capabilities.
Luxurious and Comfortable Interior:
Avatr is emphasizing the Relaxing Luxury Cockpit of the 06. All models will feature front electric doors with intelligent anti-collision and intelligent hovering functionalities. Other standard features include a streaming media rearview mirror, British Treasure audio system, and dual zero-gravity seats.
The interior boasts extensive use of soft-touch materials, covering 7 square meters, and offers a new Dai Red color option. The audio system features 25 speakers, supporting 7.1.4 panoramic sound with a powerful 2016W output.
Powertrain Options:
The Avatr 06 offers both pure electric and extended-range powertrain options.

Extended-Range (EREV): The extended-range version utilizes a 1.5T engine as a range extender, producing 115kW. The drive motor has a peak power of 231kW. Two lithium iron phosphate battery pack options are available: 31.7kWh and 45.06kWh, providing pure electric ranges of 170km and 240km, respectively.

Pure Electric (BEV): The pure electric models are built on an 800V high-voltage platform. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 252kW. The dual-motor version features front and rear motors with power outputs of 188kW and 252kW, respectively.
