Alibaba’s DAMO Academy has recently achieved a breakthrough in the early screening of pancreatic cancer by collaborating with more than 10 of the world’s top medical institutions. Using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the study successfully detected 31 cases of clinically missed lesions in over 20,000 continuous patient populations through simple CT scans. Among them, two early-stage pancreatic cancer patients were identified. This groundbreaking research has been published in the international top medical journal Nature Medicine, accompanied by a special commentary article.
